Hi Oscar, if you previously had Windows 10 installed and activated on your PC, then you lot practice not have to purchase Windows 10 . . .

Hi dave, im afraid i practise non know what version of windows information technology had on it beforehand, i simply reset it and assumed information technology would reinstall the same version every bit before hand, is there any style to meet what version was previously on the laptop?

Hullo Greg, i believe the laptop came with windows already on it, and didnt require a code to exist inputted, i've tried to troubleshoot the activation key, however it says 'troubleshooting has completed, we weren't able to activate windows x on this device, please get to the store to purchase a genuine copy of windows 10'. I dont want to buy it again equally it costs £120...

Hi Oscar, do you mean y'all used the built in Windows Reset option rather than clean installing Windows 10?
If so there should be no problem with activation . . .
Open the Settings App
Go to Organisation - About
What version of Windows 10 is reported there, is it Habitation, Pro or Enterprise?
Then in the Settings App, go to Update and Security - Activation
What is reported nether Activation?

Hi Dave, no i tried to reset via tje settings app even so information technology wouldn't work so i reinstalled windows via a USB bulldoze. Ive washed this before on my old laptop and i had no problems which is why im am dislocated as to why it did not piece of work this time.

Hi Dave, the laptop has windows x Home installed on it, just i accept forgotten what information technology had on before hand, information technology is an ex-piece of work laptop, then does this mean it may accept had enterprise on it or possibly pro? Cheers.
